RUNNING shoot
A group of high-school runners hits the course together. A shared rhythm of effort and competition shows that the best part of the run is doing it together.

The Project
The goal was to establish Champs Sports as the one-stop destination for high school runners as we launched our new assortment of running shoes, apparel, and gear. The imagery showcased the breadth of the offering across neighborhoods, paved trails, and wooded terrain, demonstrating that we had dedicated runners covered wherever their training took them.

My Role
Working closely with the photographer, I helped shape the shoot from the ground up - developing the cast, locations, looks, concepts, and timing around the brand’s needs. I carried that vision through production, personally scouting and securing locations and leading the teams on set to keep the creative and logistics moving together. From there, I guided the work through editing and final delivery, making sure the finished imagery was ready and accessible across the business.

The Production
The production brought running to life on a tight under-$80K budget, with the majority dedicated to a professional running photographer. Shot throughout my Florida neighborhood with my back porch as production HQ, a 10-person crew, local high school runners, and a custom low-platform golf cart helped us capture authentic movement on the run. The result was 82 images introducing Champs Sports’ new running assortment to its consumer.
